My passion for the magical interrelationships between air, water, soil and sun goes back to my very early years in life. Understanding living patterns of individuals and groups of people in the context of natural forces has been at the center of my attention since high school. After studying International Relations and Philosophy, I went onto working in the highly competitive global logistics sector both in a family- and global business environments. In 2006, I decided to become a farmer like my great-grand-father and a natural builder. Since then, I have also been studying and working extensively on issues ranging from Personal Growth, Indigenous Wisdom, Ecosystem Restoration, Development, Environment, Systems Thinking, Agroforestry and Civil Society. In 2009, I wrote a Thesis on Food System Resilience during my Master Studies on Development and the Environment. Since 2010, together with my wife Cathrine, our sons, and our friends from our local community, we have been building up a regenerative farm enterprise and planting 4 different types of Functional Forest sites.
Taking all that life had taught me to heart, and learning from my mistakes to re-design my own journey for meaningful living, has by far been the most rewarding thing I have ever done. Above all, I have become a deeply grateful person, a dedicated son, brother, cousin, uncle, partner, a thrilled father of three wonderful boys and a privileged friend of many wonderful people in the world.
